Dear Prospective Families,
I’d like to welcome you to North Shore Day School where every child is nurtured, respected, and supported to be the best they can be in an ever changing world. Classes are held on our Gold Coast campus where our students, 18 months to 5 years old, thrive in an atmosphere of caring, understanding and academic challenge. Our setting is optimal for children to enjoy the outdoors and explore their environment. We have designed a curriculum to enrich a child’s innate curiosity.
It is our philosophy that each child be given the tools to develop a lifelong love of learning and exploration. We pride ourselves on providing a learning experience that creates a community of partnership with families that provides a strong foundation for your child’s first school experience.
Woven into our curriculum is our mission of teaching children the skills of making and keeping friends, while building self-esteem, self-confidence and resilience. We support this mission through our character development program, STARFISH, which bridges family values with our school community.
